ChatGPT Extractor (chatgptext.com) is a free online tool that extracts conversations from public share links on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Meta AI, and Perplexity. These terms govern your use of the site. By using the service you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use it.
The Service
ChatGPT Extractor is provided free of charge and requires no account. You paste a public share link, and the service returns the conversation as text you can copy or download in several formats. We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time, including when a source platform changes its pages in a way that breaks extraction.
Your Content and Ownership
The conversations you extract belong to you or to whoever created them. We claim no ownership and no rights over them. You are responsible for having the right to process a conversation and for what you do with the extracted output afterwards — copyright and other laws in your jurisdiction still apply to that content.
Public Share Links
The extractor only works with links that the source platform itself made public. Anyone who has a share link can open that conversation on the platform, whether or not our tool exists — that is the platform's sharing feature, not something we add. Do not create share links for conversations that contain private details. On ChatGPT you can remove a share link under Settings → Data controls → Shared links; the other platforms have similar controls in their settings.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the service lawfully and fairly. In particular, you may not:
- overload the service with automated or high-volume requests, or attempt to bypass its rate limits and protections;
- use the service to infringe the rights of others, including extracting content you are not permitted to process;
- misrepresent your affiliation with this site or with any of the AI platforms it works with;
- attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its servers.
We may throttle or block traffic that endangers the service's availability for everyone else.
Third-Party Platforms
ChatGPT Extractor is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Meta, or Perplexity, and their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Your use of those platforms — including their sharing features — is governed by their own terms of service.
Advertising
This site displays ads through Google AdSense. Google's own policies govern those ads, and cookies may be used to serve them, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can adjust ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings.
No Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that extraction will always succeed, that output will be complete or error-free, or that the site will be available without interruption. Verify anything important you extract before relying on it. Use of the service is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including lost data, lost profits, or decisions made based on extracted output. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, which is zero.
Privacy
Use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: conversation content is not stored on our servers, and share links appear in operational logs for up to 7 days before those logs are deleted.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the site or the law changes. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision, and continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect.
